Our Crowdfunding Groups
As SCS continues the historic undertaking of distributing digital devices to its 95,000 students, we want to enhance the virtual learning experience by providing a headset to every student. Based on the guidance of the SCS Board and feedback from families, SCS believes that having a headset with earphones and a microphone will create a better virtual learning environment at home and better opportunities for success for our students.
With limited federal CARES Act dollars, the District utilized all funds for key expenses to restart school, including new student devices, personal protective equipment and to pay teachers for extended instructional time. As a result, we are asking for the community's support to help fund the "Headsets for Learning" initiative for our students.
INTERESTED IN SUPPORTING THE "HEADSETS FOR LEARNING" INITIATIVE? Headsets cost $10 each, and donations can be made for single headsets or large quantities.
