SchoolSeed Foundation is the independent fund for Greater Memphis Classrooms. We serve as the independent fundraising partner of Shelby County Schools in Memphis, TN. And we work with all schools in the surrounding areas including Arlington, Germantown, Collierville, Millington, Lakeland, Bartlett, Desoto County, West Memphis, Arkansas, Fayette County, Tunica County and Marshall County.
SchoolSeed manages the Ignite SchoolSeed crowdfunding platform (https://ignite.schoolseed.org) in order to support the vision, mission and core values of the schools we serve. Crowdfunding means the practice of funding a project or initiative by raising many small donations of money from a large number of people, typically via the Internet. Crowdfunding can be used to fundraise for a wide variety of projects initiated by faculty, staff, students, and groups partnering to support any one of the Schools or its students.
This policy states the restrictions, roles and responsibilities associated with Ignite SchoolSeed.
