WE DID IT!  Thanks to you, we have raised nearly $236,000 towards Phase 2 of our courtyard; those funds will cover tinted concrete paths, brick pods, cistern irrigation, and seating areas.  We hope you are as excited as we are to share when you hear that we started the construction process last Thursday.

We are once again opening the fundraising site because now we need our community’s help to raise funds for the “fun stuff”: trees, plants, flowers, and art that will make Phase 2 a truly special and unique spot on campus.  Our goal is another $89,283.   That’s a little less than 600 bricks.  We hope that one dedicated class and group of alumni will take us to our goal to complete this 15,000 square foot internal park as a special place of pride for our students, teachers, alumni, and neighbors.

On December 1, 2020, we will submit our inscribed brick order so that the bricks will be ready in time to be installed next spring.  This is one last opportunity for you to recognize—for the next 30 plus years—your graduating senior, your class, your favorite alumnus or the teacher you’ll never forget.

Thank you so much to all of our Spartan supporters who have purchased an honorary brick.  We have extended our brick campaign to midnight, Saturday, October 10th, due to the many inquiries we received on the day of our deadline last week.  

We only need to sell 100 more bricks to meet our campaign goal.  If we are able to sell these last few bricks, we hope to start building this half of the courtyard right after Thanksgiving .  Please encourage family, friends, and other Spartans to contribute asap.  Let them know why you supported our project- Spartan pride; honoring a student, parent, teacher; love of nature; or maybe you just always wanted your name on a brick.  Just send them this link-  WSHS Courtyard - https://ignite.schoolseed.org/project/17842, and ask them to order their brick (or bricks!) by midnight on October 10th.  It's easy to share on social media, too!
