SchoolSeed Foundation has disbursed funds to the Serenity Funeral Home to pay for the funeral of Kameron. Thank you for your support!
The Achievement School District and Aspire Public Schools released the following statement earlier this afternoon:
On behalf of the family of Aspire Coleman student Kameron Johnson, the Achievement School District and Aspire Public Schools wish to appreciate all of the citizens who have donated funds to support the family paying for the funeral expenses of young Kameron who was tragically killed in Monday morning’s bus crash in Arkansas. At this point, Aspire and the ASD have decided to end the fundraising effort for funeral expenses through School Seed Foundation. This decision was based on Aspire receiving a pledge from a local, reputable donor to make up the difference for funeral costs beyond the funds raised through this recent effort with ASD, Aspire, and School Seed Foundation. This donor wishes to remain anonymous.
