On Tuesday, December 1, Shelby County Schools will host a winter clothing collection drive for new coats and winter gear for students during our sixth annual Operation Warm Hearts campaign. Operation Warm Hearts

Our favorite winter giving tradition is back for the sixth year. Operation Warm Hearts will take place Tuesday, December 1, from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. in front of the Board of Education. Once again, this year’s event is being held in connection with the national Giving Tuesday initiative and the 901's #GiveMemphis campaign.

We are collecting new coats and outerwear to support our students in need this winter. Last year, our donations totaled over $20,000 in coats, winter accessories and monetary contributions to purchase more items. This year, we’re hoping the community will help us spread warmth to many more students.
